Responsible for the overall direction of services provided by Oyuna Hospice. Establishes standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations. Establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for the hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contributes to Oyuna Hospice’s philosophy.
RICHARD PARR
SPIRITUAL COUNSELOR / VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Initiates contacts with patient and loved ones to determine spiritual needs to provide the appropriate support. Works as a liaison with the clergy of client’s choice and is available for continuous spiritual counseling for client and loved ones if needed. Also plans, coordinates, and manages volunteer program activities in the organization.
TINA HERNANDEZ
COMMUNITY RELATIONS DIRECTOR
Oyuna Hospice’s liaison. Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with customers and referral resources. Responds to customer requests or concerns and facilitates establishment of contracts required by other care organization for Oyuna Hospice to provide care for mutual clients. Also provides community and client education regarding the hospice philosophy, service details as well as Oyuna Hospice’s goals as a service provider.

MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER BEREAVEMENT COUNSELOR
Assesses social service needs of clients and their loved ones including counseling, financial resources and community resources. Provides assistance with funeral and memorial preparations as needed.
Also plans, implements, and maintains a bereavement program to meet the needs of families/caregivers of Oyuna Hospice’s clients for up to one year following the death of the individual hospice client.
Lupe Ramirez
HOSPICE TRIAGE NURSE
Is responsible for identifying patient and family needs in order to provide supportive care in accordance with the plan of care and hospice policies. Supports staff out in the field by taking incoming calls and documents to ensure incoming information is taken care of.
Additional Caregiving Services
We also have pharmacists, bereavement counselors, dietitians and physical, occupational and speech therapists as needed or at the request of the family.
